He has worked with State and Non-State institutions, international organizations, academia and regional governance actors.

Ms. Christine Alai is a human rights lawyer with 15 years’ experience advancing equality, justice, and social inclusion across East and Central Africa. She currently serves as the Transitional Justice Advisor to the UN Commission on Human Rights in South Sudan and is a co-founder of Utu Wetu Trust, which works to prevent and respond to conflict-related sexual and gender-based violence.
